A comprehensive hearing evaluation is used to determine if a hearing loss is present, and if so, the type, degree and severity of the loss.

Your hearing evaluation will include a range of diagnostic tools to evaluate the outer, middle and inner ear:

  • In depth clinical case history to further understand your specific hearing healthcare needs

  • Otoscopy

  • Tympanometry

  • Acoustic Reflexes

  • Otoacoustic Emissions

  • Pure-Tone Audiometry

  • Discrimination Tests

  • Speech-In-Noise testing

Additional tests may be warranted depending on your audiologic results, in which case a referral to other medical professionals may be needed.
