It is common for hearing aids to need to be repaired over the lifetime of the device.
If you think about how many hours per day hearing aids are worn, it is logical to assume they are going to need adjustments and repairs at least once in their lifetime. Accidents happen, and when they do, we will be there to help. Many repairs can be completed in the office, but larger repairs (moisture damage, cracked hearing aid) may need to be sent in to the manufacturer for repair.
If you are currently wearing hearing aids that were fit at a different hearing professional’s office, we are happy to try and help repair the devices. We are able to service most major manufacturers of hearing aids, and can tell you in office if yours is a brand we service. Some hearing aid brands “lock” their devices, in which case we would not be able to access the settings to make adjustments or have supplies to complete the repair. If this is the case, please talk to your current hearing care provider for solutions.
